Biography:
John writes and records songs about everyday things, and sometimes does live performances too. From a varied background growing up in south-east England, he has moved about a bit and visited a few places. He's been in bands since he was 12 and has been doing solo work since 1997. You could read more about him at his webpages (http://www.gardneronline.co.uk/johnzonn.html), though to summarize: currently, things are going well; he's just released another single and has plenty more in the pipeline. He's done some interviews and reviews, and has a few accolades to his name. In 2008, he had the opportunity to be a judge for the 1st (and only) Native-E Music Awards (for Native American and Canadian Aboriginal musicians), which he said was a wonderful experience. He is a member of the Ivors Academy and receives support from Help Musicians UK.
